Nothing more, nothing less

William Wilberforce died on this day in 1933. He fought tirelessly against the British slave trade ultimately leading to the Slavery Abolition act in 1833. Wilberforce died just three days after hearing that the passage of the Act through Parliament was assured.
I read the above squib and saw the attached graphic posted on Google Plus this morning.  I considered the folly we experience in our lives when we attempt to ignore reality in favor of following that which we wish for reality to be instead -- delusional thinking does NOT make reality so.   It never has; it never will.
