Perhaps this
would help to ‘explain’ the bitter disappointment when we learn the ‘mental
connection’ never truly existed. Such
shams are so much more than minor distractions – invaluable lessons, perhaps,
but bitterly disappointing nonetheless.
Indeed!! And yet, fortunately,
life does move forward -- as do we; as do we -- DESPITE any ill-conceived 'mental connection' that belongs in the category of 'never was.'
